About The Teacher

Zoë Dearborn holds an MA in Counseling Psychology with a focus in Expressive Arts Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She has been teaching workshops and has been in private practice for more than 15 years. Shadow Work is one of her great passions and Zoë is delighted to share her philosophy and practices in this special workshop. In 2018, Zoë presented a talk “The Power of Owning Your Shadow" at the Women Awakening summit and has been working with this theme as a multi-modal artist since she was an adolescent. Zoë is also a retreat leader (check her website for more info) and has taught workshops at Modern Elder Academy and taught Art Journal Lab in Todos Santos for 7 years.
